I started 2 companies in the late 80s which were sold to Bowne & Co., Inc., a public company in 1996. I ran a division of Bowne for 3 years, and acquired 9 companies during that time to improve our offering. Later I was COO of Ask Jeeves International, where I raised $182M for our international expansion in Europe, Latin America and Asia, and established JVs to operate the local companies. I was president of Ask Jeeves Business Solutions, an early SaaS player, which I sold to a specialized search company. I stayed on as head of Corp Dev. for Ask.com. We acquired several companies during the early 2000s before selling to IAC in 2005.
