I think it's a fun idea. I do think there should be a FAQ or About page or something.

Neat. My name (Tristan) went from #451 in 1994 to #121 in 1995. Maybe because Brad Pitt played a character named Tristan in Legends of the Fall in 1994?

Here's a website I made a few years ago: http://www.babynameclusters.com/name/Tristan/Male

That's a good guess regarding the Brad Pitt character. I should add movie character names - those might be more influential than famous people in wikipedia.

What's the data source on that one? Is it a wiki scrape?

Very cool. I'm listening to it right now. But how much variation is there from day to day? Like if I go back tomorrow, will the songs all be the same? In a week?

That's a good point. So far most of the top songs just shuffle between each other. New songs start appearing towards the bottom of the list. Maybe a "random" feature could help with this?

Yeah, a random feature would be nice to provide some variety. And maybe a "trending" or "movers and shakers" list for songs that aren't necessarily in the top 40 but are still getting buzz on Twitter.

I second this. The only downside to this that I see is that it would be less mainstream music. Why this is bad is mainstream music (although not always that great) targets what most people would like. This would mean that it is unlikely that there would be the odd song that would be really jarring to someone. I figure this is a bad thing as you want something for people to listen to in the background. I cannot imagine that this is really meant as a music discovery tool as it is meant to be the top 40 most mentioned things.

Freaking awesome.

I have a maxed out 13", too, and it's become my main computer. I freaking love the thing, and it's blazing fast.

I use an external mouse (though the touchpad is pretty awesome) but the regular keyboard. It's got a great keyboard.

Seems the same to me.

Freakonomics, Stuff You Should Know

Does it come with a flux capacitor?

I use the Hootsuite and Buffer bookmarklets.

I use HostGator and am happy with it. For a while I used GoDaddy and HATED it. GoDaddy hostin was down relatively often and always slow.

I hate godaddy's interface.

Hostgator's 10/mth plan and cpanel is plenty easy for me to put all my simple forums and blogs on.

I set up my university design department with Dreamhost because it's easy for the layman and you can add multiple accounts with different lvls of access. If you need that...

I hear MT is good like AWS if you are like to configure everything on your own.

I too use HostGator and very satisfied.

Several clients I did work for had GoDaddy hosting and I would run into all sorts of issues with them.
