Recently discovered species. I asked myself the same question, but then read the caption on the photo of the newly discovered leech, where it says "Scientists know of up to 700 leech species but suspect thousands more exist." But, it would be nice that even though many species face extinction today, there are new ones enriching the earth as well.

CAPTCHA sounds like a reasonable solution.

Submitting content for sake of karma is spamming, no matter who wrote the content. Why not share with others something you think they will find useful or noteworthy? People tend to ask themselves first WIIFM and if they find the benefit, they share. Let us remember that sharing is about others.

OK, maybe you should Google "farmer update" and read a bit about that. Then check your backlinks. I could not find those 500 backlinks you bought. All I can see are 59 external links from 3 unique domains. So what have you done with them them when you got them?

I think we can expect even Facebook to start using the word "think". That would be hilarious.

I like these rules. I can`t agree more with you about applying to people`s self-interests. I think that principle "I`ll scratch your back if you scratch mine" is very powerful. When friends receive your request for help they will often look for a reason to help you. So, it might be a good rule to give them in your request an answer to WIIFM. BTW, I experienced the truth of #45 - Preach the Need for Change, but Never Reform too much at Once. We are creatures of habit and hate when someone threatens them.

I don`t know if this will help, but I am using extension Too Many Tabs for Chrome. Not that it is as awesome as TabMixPlus for FF, but it helps. And there are other similar extensions. I haven`t tried all of them, but here is the link: https://chrome.google.com/extensions/search?q=Tab+mix+Plus

Simplicity. That is one of Google attractions. So, the new Chrome logo fits that image better than the old one.

Have you met Pegman? http://maps.google.com/help/maps/streetview/learn/pegman.htm... I like the idea and the name.

Good point. I kinda like the one that goes: "We are what we speak". If I don`t have something nice and encouraging to say, then I just don`t anything. I give my best to accomplish this.

What I especially like about this model is the following: "content becomes more important than the creator, which is unlike virtually any other online community. Rather than prioritizing the most valued and experienced users..." This is the foundation of creating value.
