Yeah, my scare was in class D space. There was a tower telling some yokel to look for the traffic dead ahead.

Yokel: "What traffic?"

ATC: "The traffic you just overflew."

(As a Cessna goes over me about 50 ft above me.)

And mind you this is with a ATC trying to order traffic.
