I'm hoping the micro-usb for charging can also be used for reprogramming. Esquire had an open invitation to hack their eink display, I hope this one has a similar open approach.
I am given to understand that it is designed to be reloaded with end-user content. I don't know if that will be a feature of this initial rollout, though.
