Sheesh, has it really been the same for that long? I dropped out (only) about 5 years ago and had a similar thought. I enjoyed how the author didn't name names but made it pretty obvious to anyone who's dealt with this stuff before, even tangentially.
To be fair, I've never dealt with these drivers before, but I used to read Phoronix regularly and the companies were easy to identify from that knowledge alone.
