FAT8 was written in 1977. Nobody is using
any
filesystem written in 1977 these days.

NTFS is way more sophisticated than ext2/3/4. ZFS is probably got it beat, but it's actually a pretty great filesystem. Don't confuse 'windows' with 'NTFS'.
