If you don't have it, nothing else matters. If you do, everything else is just an icing on the cake. Took me a while to realize this, but that's an ultimate truth :)

It's not like a woman is going to throw out all her requirements (e.g. has to be equal height or taller) just because the guy is confident.
For a tall person height isn't a factor at all. They could say that as height isn't a problem for them.
