Fun. While there will be no "executable" code that you cant find in the JS, there is potential for comments in code to reveal e.g. employee names (not a big deal) and maybe secrets and possibly profanity!

If I were Apple I'd just open source this now.


It is amusing to see amateur web devs tripping over themselves to make this into a big issue when experienced devs this is a big nothingburger.

It’s frontend code. It’s not an issue that the front end can see it.


Quite frankly amateurish. Do they not have a staging environment at all at Apple?

A reflection of the decline in quality.


Publishing frontend source maps is not uncommon and quite often done intentionally.
