Your "manual work" estimate of 30 minutes to copy and paste data from a PDF file is insane.

that's real data from real users. most of the PDF files are just scanned copies or photos, with line items ranging from 10-50 per invoice. that takes a lot of time for data entry and it's boring.

With 30 items, that's 60 seconds per line. Not really plausible.
