For a party that online has a lot of rhetoric about "snowflakes" this administration really works hard to be the most stereotypical "snowflakes" about whatever given terms upset them.
It seems there should be a way to identify "those abnormal people" so that we can keep our children away from them? We wouldn't want them polluting our kids with subversive ideas about gender that are not accepted canon. I don't know, maybe they could wear something? Like maybe a yellow star or something like that?
While you can call it Nazi values, Britain didn't decriminalize male homosexual acts until 1967 (and even then with a higher age of consent, and other limits, compared to heterosexual acts), France decriminalized even later in 1982, and while some US states did earlier, the last didn't until their sodomy laws were invalidated by the Supreme Court in 2003. And the Soviet Union used fighting fascism as an excuse for its recriminalization of male homosexuality in 1933, which it retained until it fell.
So, I mean, the states that occupied Germany after the Nazis fell were all subscribers to “Nazi values” on this point.
If you want look away, don't go outside, avoid all people who are somehow different in a way you don't want to deal with. You were welcome to not go to the PBS teaching resources pages on this topic the whole time it existed.
The fact that people exist is just a thing. Nothing wrong with talking about it.
I think it's healthy to understand people and the world around us, even things we maybe feel challenged to hear about.
To believe the existence of trans people has been "shoved down" people's throats, a person would have to be either remarkably thin-skinned & insecure, or deeply gullible and susceptible to the propaganda of people like Rufo.
So on HN all political discussion is forbidden, but hate speech against marginalized communities is? Can someone flag this account literally called `lgbtcomment`?
So should heterosexual couples also be hidden? After all, being perceived seems to be "shoving it down others throats". I want them to take down every show with a married couple cast. And all resources on marriage, love, or children? Right into the pyre.
Or can we at least be honest and just say it's about erasing the queer community yet again? The least y'all can do while punching down is own up to it
