Why is this important? It means future voting doesn't matter at all as the government has been disabled. What remains will be something like Russia, were the public state is mostly a performance act. Kleptocracy instead of society. "Rules for thee, but not for me".

The US is treading a very dangerous path right now. I wonder how long it'll take for Congress to act and, by the time it happens, if it'll be sufficient.
I am an EU citizen, 68 years old, long-time admirer of the USA and SpaceX but what happens now in the USA horrifies me, as it reminds me of the path that took another great nation in Europe nearly one century ago.
