Iboga is in a whole other class than classical psychedelics. It is actually similar to the dissociative Salvia, in that it binds to the Kappa opioid receptor.

When I hear about Ibogaine I think of Hunter S Thomson spreading a rumour during the 1972 presidential campaign that Ed Muskie was taking it.
