It probably does the most damage to delete all your posts and then sell your account, if your goal is to inflict maximum harm on Reddit, but it also harms the community (which may be the point of the operation).

Maybe you could export all your posts to your blog first for any ones that may contain useful info (probably less than we’d like to think).



Has anyone tried using the reddit data dump to just stand up a copy of an old subreddit?

Apparently the whole site is 2TB, so you can probably fit all your subreddits on a tiny cloud instance somewhere.


I know of several active efforts, but am unclear about their progress.


Instead of deleting your posts/comments, edit as many of them as you can to make a statement.


Reddit is restoring deleted posts.
