Indeed. I'm a programmer, and if i have a 30 by 30 table of numbers with colon headers coming produced by an app or a script, my first reaction is to select, copy, paste it in excel, press search in excel and type 'text to columns'. Next step is search for 'chart'. In between I can experiment with just a few mouse clicks with different chart types, draw a trend line, add a caption,... Of course when this needs automation, further steps need to be taking using a script in combination with pandas or the like, but only after a quick assessment using excel.
