You know, I think the points in the article are valid, and indeed AI could very well change how a lot of things in the government / legal system work. But unfortunately, the past 5 years of the media having a ridiculous freakout over the state of "democracy" may have created a boy who cried wolf scenario. I'm totally numb to the media breathlessly declaring "our democracy is in danger!!!!1!" and I'm far from the only one. I can't imagine that this issue will get the attention it deserves.
