Too true. And it’s even worse on the receiving end, because all too often this “unblocking” is basically just adding an @-mention to you in Slack with zero context (hope you enjoy reading a 200-message slack thread trying to understand the context!) or just adding you as a CC to an already extremely long email thread (again with no summary of what’s being asked, hope you enjoy reading 100 levels of indented quotes figuring wtf it is they even want.)

All this ends up amplifying confusion… a problem can go from 99% solved and only needing a question from another team, to several meetings where everyone’s confused, all because of miscommunication that is made worse by the very PM’s that are supposed to be helping the matter.

If you can’t tell, I’ve never met or had a good PM in my life. Not one.
