I'm now on Azure (for no choice of my own) and it's a complete dumpster fire, even worse than AWS.
GCloud (which I was on 5 years ago) was the least worse of the big one and it wasn't good either.
I've been impressed by DigitalOcean, but it's not a popular choice in large companies. Nobody got fired for recommending AWS, Microsoft or Google.
For my own hosting I pick Hertzner simply because it's cheaper and I don't need a UI or services that hold your hands.
