I agree.

Study real sciences (physics/chemistry/maths), and if you want to get close to computer programming, study computer applied maths. Don't fool yourself, it ain't that ez, for instance designing a transcendental function approximant with a mathematically proven accuracy.

Computer "normal" programming/admin is high-school level (kids coding assembly are nothing amazing). Computer applied maths is very different and require very probably a college degree.

Computer languages with syntax of very high complexity (best example is c++) are mostly scams used by many ppl with a hidden agenda (or properly brain-watched).
