CRUD apps don't take a lot of work to do and they usually solve real problems for small and mid size businesses in your area. That's a real business opportunity in most cities in the world.

Not everyone needs to be Google.

A lot of people are applying this approach in gumroad, actually. Time to time I can see Notion tables with diverse curated content for sale

I essentially paid my way through college by turning SMB's spreadsheets into CRUD webapps + some tiny reporting. There is a huge, huge market for this if you wanted to trade some of the time you would spend writing code with marketing, cold calls, chasing down clients for invoicing, and other non-tech stuff.

I loved this article and explored the rest of this blog. It really is top notch!
