For People is improving government services for the disadvantaged population. We work directly with government agencies to modernize software, systems, and platforms so that they better serve people.
We currently have two funded multi-year Federal contracts within the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). We are looking for both a Senior Data Engineer and Infrastructure Engineer to work on CMS’s Medicaid Analytics Platform. The platform supports data scientists, analysts, researchers and policy makers to make better data-driven decisions using Medicaid data collected from all 50 States.
Despite the stereotypes about government projects, we work with a very modern stack (Databricks, Python, Spark, and more) and are fully agile. The Senior Data Engineer role would lead a team of engineers that build, administer and scale Medicaid data processing pipelines. The Infrastructure Engineer would support our AWS-based cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform scripts, and more.
$120,000 - $150,000 salary range for both positions.
We are a fully remote team across all major times zones within the United States.
