Thank you Patrick Volkerding. Slackware was my first real distro. Almost exactly 20 years ago, I was a kid who spent a week downloading a slackware iso. I sat and read through everything in the slackware installation and that taught me so much! Your philosophy of simplicity and purity in software and systems design has left a deep imprint on me.
