I mean you can argue fine points if you want but money is always the main factor. OpenAI has been dead for a while as far as "OPEN" goes.
OpenAI does however state in many places that they are very hesitant to approve any uses that could be "therapeutic" in nature. Understandable since MS doesn't want to lose money from medical malpractice lawsuits for their billion dollar investment.
