Oh, I've heard this so many times before! Too slow, to old, too unIDE, too non-javascript, too Lisp, too this, too that.

And yet, Visual Studio is fading away, Eclipse is gone, Netbeans (of "just stop using Emacs for Java" fame ) is on life support.

Emacs is here to stay.
