I don't feel like they're far off here. The legend piece looks promising, they just need to be able to label both the axes, and I think you've got everything you need.


I've experimented with this myself. You can get some nice interactions by using checkboxes and radios instead of list items, but you would need something to hook onto the table row or cell, a class or a data-attribute.


Agreed, I kept looking through all the examples for labelling of both the axes. It's a bit strange that you would not show the number one thing most people are looking for in a chart.
