I guess this is the evolution of "awesome" GitHub repositories. Instead of just dumping every matching link into README, now a short description is scraped and saved along with links.
Not saying this page has bad content, but there's at least one such "curated" list on front page of HN, and I wonder how much of it is for audience / Twitter follower building "profession".
