Is there such a utility for Browsers. I want to kill that tab/tabs hogging resources but unfortunately can't identify the tab using the normal top/htop utilities.

It's pretty new, released around June 2020 iirc. It's great, basically what I've always wished for.

Chrome has a Task Manager, you'll find it under the three dots -> More Tools -> Task Manager

Wish this existed for Brave in particular. I believe Activity Monitor does this for Safari.
