Who cares what people think about you when you are eating. As long as you are not being disgusting in public, do what floats your boat. Perhaps you close your eyes because you really really want to enjoy that taste :). I don't think it is weird.
Next time someone points that out, just say "Yea I like to really feel the taste and when I close my eyes, I have no distraction". or get a T-shirt that says "I close my eyes when eating. Get over it".

I think you thought my issues were specific to BJP only, I have plenty things to complain about them, but as you correctly pointed out, some of the problems are of a more generic nature (assault on medical personnel, is surely one of them. In fact the cases I am familiar with aren't from BJP states. I did hope, however, there would be some national level messaging and measures beyond useless flower showers and claps. I would have been happy with some temporary ordinance that made attacks on medical personnel and services nonbailable) -- after all I was replying on thread of India going to the dogs rather than on BJP.
Propaganda, is of course universal. I am sure all parties indulge in it. But going by the vile stuff I see on WA that are egregiously false and inflammatory, BJP has a clear upper hand, head and shoulders above the rest. (Recently I saw this video of a girl being assaulted and then eventually set on fire (reignited when flames weren't to their satisfaction), with herself too injured to do much about it. Quite horrendous stuff that had my hands shaking as I watched. Turns out it was a drug related violence in a Latin American country. But the subtext claimed it was Indian Muslims burning their women for not sticking to purdah system. These are very effective because some Latin American women, particularly Mexican women could easily pass of as an Indian woman. I get nothing of this sort of propaganda from the other side.)
