Doubtful. WakeMate is just incredibly buggy, in general. I've gotten it to work exactly once since I got it (on the supposedly better supported iPhone). Otherwise, it seems to need constant rebooting.

They've said that they're working on fixing battery life issues (at least as reported by Engadget).

The defective charger is a separate issue entirely.
