Monetizing mundane home videos with ads is a creepy and bizarre concept to begin with.


Child paegeantry is a multi-million dollar business, and has been for decades.

Everyone is part of the problem, starting from the parents who push their kids into the public spotlight, to the local media that provides coverage of this stuff, encouraging other fame-seeking parents to try to get in on it.


Worse is making children work so they can earn money as influencers. Don't see G lifting a finger there.


It's literally what TV shows like AFV did.


Notice I used the qualifier "mundane." Funny potentially meme videos are one thing, unexceptional videos of kids' talent shows or just doing everyday things should be not be advertised. Ideally they should be unlisted or posted to Facebook or some other social network that isn't broadcast to the entirety of the web.
