IANAL, but based on the wording, it seems like it's only unlawful to create w/ intent to distribute, or to knowingly distribute, a deep fake IFF you're facilitating unlawful conduct. So for example, blackmail? Does libel count? Does the very act of distributing a deep fake count as libel against the subject?
