Obviously I wouldn't pay for it, but self-hosting is pretty straightforward and it has a companion Android app. Never cared for Feedly and I don't really fancy making my own. It's the best Google Reader clone I've found. https://www.goread.io

I don't like feedly either, but as a backend for apps it works fine, and is free.
