ha, freshman C course. Good one.

My school switched to Java and graduated more than a couple people who don't really get C at all.

Should be taught in OS. Really, it should be taught in a practical sense in an OS lab.



My OS class at least didn't even come close to covering that sort of stuff. Half the semester was on concurrency primitives and System V IPC :(


Same kind of thing here. System calls, concurrency, etc. Nothing at all about linking.

I think he means there was no freshman C course.


It's more the funny idea that C is still taught anywhere as an introductory language instead of the 'easier' Java or Python. (The actual course does exist. https://www.digipen.edu/coursecatalog/#CS120)
