Yes, but pjmlp is massively understating the case. Haskell's type system and fine-grained level of compositionality is remarkably helpful when it comes to refactoring.


Yeap, I was just presenting the broader picture, specially since in the enterprise space, unit tests have even lower priority than documentation.


Although you can get some serious mileage out of C's type system (such as it is). Refactoring in Python is... broken. I can't imagine why anyone would use Python when they need their code to stay nimble.
