The main page has been updated with a FAQ to address some of the questions that keep coming up.

I've updated the landing page with a FAQ that addresses this. The point is that you don't have to actively look for news, it's sent to you on regular intervals.

There are plenty of Go related blogs, this simply aggregates the week's highlights for you.

As previously mentioned, Google Groups has an RSS feed. I'll look into a Twitter account.

I don't think you can tag gists. Snipt's searching/tagging looks a little better.

While the article is old, I think it's a decent howto for installing plan9. Now I just need a use for it...

Well, really, about the only guide you need to install Plan 9 is "Hit Enter a whole bunch of times", and before you know it you'll have it installed to your hard disk. (I simplify, but pretty much every prompt either 1. Is clearly explained or 2. Has a sensible default.)

What about dust?

Canned air should be as fine as it is for other kinds of dust. Chalk is basically inert, so there are no worries about affecting electronics or anything like that.

Consulting by night to bootstrap a couple of products while working a day job as the "Infrastructure Administrator" (read: netadmin managing linux boxen) for a small municipality to feed the wife and son.

Not sure when the day job will end, but it's soul sucking work.
