A new way to talk to the computer I guess.

Facial expressions are still a bit off

On a side note, if the facial expressions were spot on, how would you as a prospective customer feel if you were later informed that the video was in fact AI-generated?

This is a great question that we’re curious about- how would you feel? Would you rather know up front, later or not at all?

In our experience as long as the content is solid small imperfections aren’t an issue. We HN crowd are also more inquisitive and critical :)

Out of curiosity, how much more time will it cost to run this on general CPUs of users computer?

It takes a couple seconds per reply. GPUs aren't as powerful as everyone would have it, at least not for ML; you'd be lucky to get a 10x speedup.

My observation is that Qi used the YC brand to help launch his MiraclePlus. After that they part ways. The first batch of startups are very different from regular YC companies.

So form a partnership with US firm, extract IP and know-how, launch a clone in China, and part ways. Sounds like a standard approach.

Oh, and the Western "chumps" got "nothing". Is that the story line you are selling here?

The Rust Programming Language https://doc.rust-lang.org/book/index.html

Thanks for this. I've been hearing a lot of suggestions of Rust as a beginner language and also as a language that is progressing nicely over time, but never any good starting points. If you have any other Rust related material I'd greatly appreciate it.
