Greetings! I'm Fernando, Principal Engineer at Megali (https://megali.dev) - a software development agency based in Brazil. During the last 8 years, I've had the privilege of delivering bespoke software solutions designed around unique business needs for partners all around the world.

My expertise ranges from end-to-end BE/FE development to data pipelines and custom machine learning models. I'm very comfortable working on fast paced environments, small and large teams, directly with startup founders or as a third party service provider for companies. I'm pragmatic, with a founder's mindset, I value agility, value generation and craftsmanship. Note that this offering is to work direct with me, but I can come up with and manage a larger team if necessary, given availability. I've just ended my last contract and I'm looking for new opportunities to apply my skills, helping you to achieve success in your projects, in a timely manner, with quality, peace of mind and within your budget!

I'm a brazilian electrical and software engineer with 4 years of experience developing embedded applications and web.

I'm highly interested in Math, Statistics, Game theory, Information theory and Category theory (I'm not a hardcore haskeller... yet, so I do not include it in my techs). These days I'm working on marketing automation with my own startup.

Covid hit Brazil very hard, and my family specially suffered form this, so the high variance of returns of a startup life is not acceptable for me anymore.

I'm very used to remote work and will receive in cryptocoins and work on a contractor bases if it is more convenient for both parts.

Cheers!

Most Haskellers do not know much about category theory, I don't know why you'd imply that.

Just look at how much Haskell you can write without thinking about how Functor is covariant, or that Contravariant even exists.

Actually I'm implying that most Cat theorists are haskellers, at least the ones I know.

Not that my sample size is significant at all. I know about 4 and a half Cat theorists at most if you exclude the internet ones... haha
