I didn't hear about reveal.js. I was considering impress.js (I've known this tool for some time already) as a tool to make my next presentation but I think reveal is better choice in my situation (I think it's easier to use and has everything I need). Thanks for the link!

I think this presentation/page isn't simple enough. You use too much different fonts and styles (there are slides with regular, bold and italics style in one sentence). I liked the rocket-shape of presentation though. It's just my opinion, I'm not an expert.

>Probably, but undergrad classes in Statistics are not available to everyone.

If you have internet connection you can learn Statistics, there is a lot of good resources. For example:

https://www.coursera.org/course/stats1 (maybe not undergrad level, but good place to start)

http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/mathematics/18-05-introduction-to...

Speaking of Coursera, Data Analysis[1] starts January - "applied statistics course focusing on data analysis".

I've recently discovered GitLab and known only current UI. After seeing those old UI screenshoots I think previous interface was better. Current version is highly "inspired" by GitHub (which has very good UI imo) but somehow has worse UI/UX for me (but I'm using it only for a month or 2, so maybe it's just my first impression). I wish there was some kind of "theme" module for GitLab.

I will return with something. Not this monday, maybe not next, but I will return. And I'll be looking for your comment ;).

I'm following :). I'm really glad I posted my question on HN, I received really good advices. Thanks for yours!

You're welcome. If you need anything else, just pm me @rooshdi and I'll try my best to help.

> If you can't even start something, no amount of "connections" will do you any good whatsoever.

I know this. Second question is not directely connected to the first one, I wrote "let's say I build my product" and asked about its promotion.

> Your whole posts makes it sound like you're making excuses instead of actually trying to change.

I don't think I'm making excuses. I'm aware I have problem and ask for some possible solutions. However you are (at least partialy) right about giving up power. This is a good point. I'm in the proccess of taking control, I'm really changing for better. I've changed some parts of my life I couldn't change in the past (because in the past I was just talking about that, without any real action), and still there is a lot to improve. And you know what? Responses here are really valuable for me, now I see the path I should go to change one of the worst of my flaws.

Thanks for your input.

So simple, heh. Thank you for this advice, I'm going to try and check if it works for me.

I've tried lot of different tutorials and the best one for me is: http://www.typingstudy.com/. Very well done, imo.
