I own my own company and am expanding my local reach by carving out a new niche with the use of AI. Many local doctors are facing staffing shortages, and I’m working to help alleviate some of their challenges by creating a custom AI agent tailored to their specific practices. This AI agent can handle the majority of their routine phone calls and manage appointment bookings for new patients.
I’m using VAPI for voice capabilities and training the LLM with practice-specific details. Interaction details are then forwarded to an n8n cluster for processing patient-related metadata and coordinating appointment confirmations between the practice management system and the patient, either via email or SMS.
