The driver quality (mainly around display and sleep/resume features) has been terrible on my now 2 year old AMD powered Lenovo P14S. I've been using Lenovo laptops since 2001 and this one may push me to another brand for my next purchase. My issues have been seemingly slowly getting better with software updates but it's still really tarnishing the brand reputation/experience for me.
I'm likely heading for the same destination as we're building a new house in a rural area that has limited Internet options. If you're open to it, I would love to join any meetings that you may have regarding building out a new WISP. I do have one wireless bridge live now that was my proof of concept.
Can it be scaled up and done in reverse to create a point source of coherent audio from multiple speaker components covering different frequency ranges?
I've been self-hosting Nextcloud for calendar and file sharing for a few years now. I use DAVx5 on my Android device and my wife's iphone syncs out of the box. It's been a very solid solution for us and isn't that difficult to get up and running.
https://store.yujiintl.com/ has broad spectrum LEDs/lamps/fake skylights that may also appeal to others interested in the OP--just noticed Yuji was mentioned in OP. I'm not affiliated with Yuji but have ordered some of their products and been very happy with their performance.
Yes, I haven't used this myself yet but I have been keeping my eye on this project for a while now, https://erpnext.com/ The Frappe framework that is the foundation of ERP Next can be used to extend the ERP platform or build standalone apps.
(Neon PM) Do you have have an idea of the RAM or compute your application needs Many applications can run 24/7 with 1 GiB RAM on the Launch plan at $19/month.
Appreciate yall being active in here but this doesn't really answer the question. Neon looks really interesting to us, we're currently paying Heroku for a standard-5 postgres plan at $1400/month. But that's mostly for the 1 TB of storage, I have no idea how much "compute" we currently use.
Our Sales team would be happy to talk through pricing with you. Do you have any suggestions on where we could clearer to people like yourself who are in the same position?
Storage costs can be calculated as something along the lines of:
size of current database * retention period (configurable) + compute hours
Or do no work at all and keep depositing checks until they eventually terminate you. This takes a lot longer than you think at any large dysfunctional organization.
Well yes but you're going to have to have traded on your reputation to enter a position where they trust you so freely and it's going to take a frustratingly long time to rebuild that reputation afterwards.
I can tell you from first-hand experience, if I'm not doing much work from home, I'm doing even less in the office. I used to just walk around and bullshit with my colleagues instead of doing work.
It has been a very good purchase for me--I stand for at least 2-3 sessions during the work day and find it very helpful.
This particular unit has very little wobble and is extremely strong. Zero regrets and I highly recommend it. If you're doing any consulting/contracting this should be a tax deductible purchase.
