Wouldn't it be cheaper to directly compensate such customers rather than keeping the whole website down for 3 days?

maybe, but wouldn't you have to recuperate the data to be able to figure out what customers you owed and how much?

Well you can get that from your transaction processor, doubt they do that themselves

Just ask people to send in support tickets

Right, but as soon as people get wind of what you're doing, you'll be drowning in fraudulent tickets.

This is a possible way to get free items. They have millions of players, check every ticket seems not scalable. No?

If a user uses $1M of his own money to trade and make 100K in profit. Does he owe taxes on 100K or 1.1m?

On $100K.

There are travel restrictions all over the world currently due to the COVID-19 situation. People are not allowed to travel from one city to another in the same country without proper documents. Lots of countries are not even allowing international flights at this point. To tie this in just with US passport is simply politically motivated.

It is the mix of current US sentiments, its leadership combined with the total chaos going on in this country - journalists are doing a disservice by perpetuating and provoking tribal instincts of nationalism. They're hyping up the downfall of the United States and hoping to get more clicks.

Folks who are non-Americans are getting a spicy juicy dose of some anti-US sentiments which is being drank in large quantities overseas.

What a sad time.

Great job! Are the radio stations live?

Seems so. I pulled up a radio stations stream in NYC and they were playing the same song.

Is it worth it to buy just for reading purposes? I have a Kindle but a want bigger screen to read PDFs and web pages.

Also, any integration with the Android app store?

It is perfectly serviceable for reading, though it may lack some of the reading oriented features of other eink devices. I love the large size for some of my documents, which are unpleasant to read on smaller devices.

What you re missing?

Based on other comments here, it seems that the Remarkable is missing several features that some people enjoy in their eReaders. The only one I can cite definitively is the lack of backlight. I can't speak to other allegedly missing features because I haven't investigated the issue. I am satisfied with the features I do use when I want to read certain docs on the large remarkable screen.

I don't think it's that great for reading. It does not have a backlight. I own both the reMarkable and Kindle Paperwhite and I prefer to read books on the Kindle.

It is suitable for reading PDFs, but don't expect much. It doesn't have a web browser and doesn't run Android apps.

What makes something like AWS lambda complex? I feel lambda is one of the easiest and fastest way to get something out the door.

No idea about this. But sending good wishes your way!
