Here is a counter point, do startup if you think you cannot handle kids.

I have two under 3 years old kids. Working from home during pandemic, helping my wife and managing two kids brought me to the edge of my sanity. The worst thing is tantrums, high pitched screams would leave me physically exhausted within a few minutes. I started to drink more often.

I didn't think I could continue to work from home with kids in the house. I was ready to quit and figured it won't look so bad to have a gap on your resume during pandemic. But then instead I got second part-time job as a junior developer.

This gave me real excuse to avoid managing kids during work hours, and then later night. I spend 5-8pm with my kids and I have more energy and it is much higher quality time with them. After putting them to sleep and watching some TV with wife, I go back to work. I wake up more refreshed than when I was going to bed early. Pure coding is almost meditative for me, so maybe that's why I feel more rested.

Also extra money allowed us to hire babysitter who can assist my wife during the day and we still have extra money after babysitter's expenses. We also got cleaners, started to send laundry out, ordered in more food, enrolled kids in various day camps or classes.

But this is not really apples to apples comparison, startups are a lot harder than a job as a junior developer. And if your startup is not bringing in cash, you may not have enough of extra money to hire help, which may strain your relationship.

300 IQ move here, bravo sir, well done. That also alleviates workload from your partner for sure.

I cannot believe this works for you, hahaha, but I’m glad it does. Nice!!

13 years olds should be mature enough to know how to behave.

How does OP knows that they are low IQ? That seems insulting to me. It is one thing to say they lack right skills or are unmotivated to work hard. But saying someone is low IQ without doing IQ test is same as calling a fat person lacks discipline to eat healthy.

Or reading your or OP's comments and assuming that you have social and possibly serious mental health issues. Not very nice, right?

Untreated ADHD, depression etc. might also contribute to low performance. Beyond that, it is bold to claim "low IQ" without even demonstrating it. I don't think many people are interested in learning and thinking deeply regardless of intellect.

No screenshot of what new fonts look like, I don't have Twitter so cannot see it on twitter.com. It wants me to sign up.

View any random account. Here's one: https://twitter.com/twitter

I stared it for a good minute thinking maybe I wasn't being served the new font, but no, it's just so similar to Helvetica (Roman) that I have to deliberately look for the differences to tell. I compared Chirp and Helvetica side by side and the only significant differences in the characters themselves are in the upper case J, Q, and R, then lower case g and the numeral 2.

Am I missing something or is it just that I go to twitter so seldom that I assumed it was always Helvetica?

Edit: it seems it's not the font itself, but rather something going on with the rendering making it blurrier for some people than the previous typeface.

It shows Segoe UI for me

Twitter takes like full two minutes to load in recent years, is that normal?

There's something really strange that happened to me for over a year, and it's stopped. I can't remember what it was or why. I think using https://twitter.com (without the www), forcing https, and using Safari. Some combo of those things made the site almost never load properly. Try adding in a WWW or a different browser if you're interested.
