Denver here. I'm not sure about Ft. Collins, but Boulder does have a decent startup culture and while I currently work in Denver, I have seen a lot of companies located in Boulder that sparked my interest. A few companies have either moved to Denver or opened a second location in Denver for convenience though. A lot of developers I know make the commute from Boulder to Denver, but with traffic it can be a pain.
I don't like the direction they took with this feature. From the screenshots it appears to place the tags on the photo itself, similar to how Facebook currently handles tags. This assumes that Instagram photos will have people in the photos. In my experience, this is often not the case and photos tend to be places and things. I do like the concept of adding a "Photos of You" section since I usually mention user handles in my caption. Prior to this feature, if you mentioned a user, they would get a notification and the photo would eventually get buried in your activity feed. Essentially this new section of your profile organizes all those mentioned photos into one easy to find place. I think they took an unnecessary extra step with the tagging IMHO
Exactly what I was thinking. I'm a developer at a small startup that can't afford to pay their developers as much as other companies in the area, but I enjoy my job and couldn't picture myself anywhere else for a while. If my salary goes up, I'm not going to complain.
I found an old half medicine ball (not sure what it's called) laying around my parents house and I stand on it at my desk. It felt weird at first but I'm used to it now and it seems to keep my muscles working.I'm not sure exactly what it'll do to me in the long run though.
I was reading about this yesterday and about an hour later, Citi called me trying to sell me their fraud protection. I replied "Did it help the 200,000+ accounts that were stolen from you?" and hung up.
It might have--I mean, when Citi sells you fraud protection for your Citi account, that's basically insurance against either you or them being careless with your account info.
