Interesting. How are you sourcing these videos? Archive.org?

Thank you for the links - We were hoping that YC would have a data set of say the top 300 cities in each country with the data and give it for free to startups. The main sources are all paid services, which I understand, as putting the data together is arduous. We will put our final result out there for free on our site once we finish cleaning it up, but it would only be a ‘snapshot’ - YC have the connections and resources to put out a more real-time version. We just thought it would be a great addition to YC’s library of resources if they started to provide startups with some core reference data sets-Stephen

From my experience, it's mostly about creating value or filling a need, most of the interviews I have read, they either did user interviews, built a simpler version of the product and iterate on it. In a nutshell I would say there's not a single way for all startups to validate their idea, it depends on the industry an what you are building as well as where the idea originated from.

Sounds like DO is going to have the cheapest k8s service out there!

Started https://dotlayer.com like 2 years ago, it was initially called wpzoan, I started it when my friends would message me about issues they were facing with WordPress, at that time I totally hated WordPress, I guess that was the developer in me. But I later saw all the issues people were facing and it's worked out well.

So how does this work. Do I give your anonymous "expert" access to my server for them to do the fix? Or do I provide database and codebase dumps? Where is the security in your service to not have my code stolen along the way?

Also, using Brave browser on Android, I get a stack of Zeroes on your landing page for "Tasks Completed"... Pretty sure that's a bug or a fail as a selling point. Glad you got a project going and generating revenue!
