Let's separate an idea from implementation. It really depends from how to conduct such interviews. A good example is Google and Bolt. Both use it but differently. And for me personally in both companies it showed clearly all my shortcomings. Even when I known how to solve the task in the best way and wrote code on a board which you can compile. And to be honest I have the same shortcomings when I solve problems bigger or harder. You know, unlike many others this experience was clear and useful for me. It needs practice but I like it.

Citadelle (titled in English as The Wisdom of the Sands) by Antoine de Saint-Exupуery. He didn't finish the book but it's about philosophy of his life and I think that Antony was a good example of a strong-willed man.

Sorry, I don't have time to example all pros and cons but: - UML is complicated and nobody really knows that and it's sad; - Simple tool like Miro, Dia is the easiest way but you have to keep it updating manually; - PlantUML was fine. We used it on a PHP project but it was once and many years ago; - DOT language can be a mediator between code and visualization (graphviz) but nobody really develops it. I didn't find a library to parse it and language is full of problems like mixing visualization with representation, decomposition and etc. Huge potential but right now even XML is better.

I used it for visualization on my project https://github.com/srce/roadmap/blob/master/stacks/java/data...

.XML -> Python script -> .DOT -> Graphviz -> *.SVG

It's very useful and probably the best example of using DOT language, unfortunately.

I am from Belarus and I've always been impressed by the story of the Berlin Wall. And it's my dream that our wall will fall too. It is impossible to take it anymore...

Oh, please! I'm from Belarus. It hurts me to hear such words. I know people who support Lukashenko but I'd say it's truly just 3%. We have a lot of evidence that he doesn't have support but they are Junta. And it's not just words. I could go to jail for this message... Read it https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-57320591

Oh, dear! Nobody cares about covid here. Everything works as usual and we have no idea how many people died. Funeral tax profits increased by more than 50%. Government closed the border because we want to escape. The state takes revenge for our protests. And it’s impossible to describe the whole situation but political prisoners die in prison or commit suicide. Today, for example, one guy tried to cut his throat right in court https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-57320591

That sounds like an informed opinion from someone who is now in Belarus.

> How would it blow up in their face when Apple's customers don't care?

It's very important to remember that a big part of Belarusian protesters work in IT and even in Apple

> just block the App store

I don't think so. IT is 5% of Belarusian GDP.

It was, before the shitshow

That's cool! Already thinking how to combine it with my Roadmap https://github.com/dzyanis/roadmap

This is the first time I've been introduced the concept of a Developer Roadmap, and I love it! Thank you so much for sharing and linking your sources as well! I am definitely going to do this.

You are welcome! Unfortunately, right now it's just in pre-alpha but I will try to finish asap
