I have an idea:

1. When creating a Google account, you can choose that the account will be owned by a specified library (or other institution). This can also be done for already created accounts.

2. When that account is then locked out due to missing 2FA, the library holds the backup codes and can be provided upon identification.

This is similar to how Google accounts can be managed by a company that you are employed at.


No, in fact the Sweden Democrats has nothing to do with this. They have not even been able to vote about this - all this mess is ONLY the seven parties that came together.


I check reddit a few times per day mostly because I'am a mod over there and want the subs to be clean but other than that I read /r/netsec a lot, very nice community with focus on quality.

Almost never share any content there but the few times I do I get really good feedback so next time I want to share something reddit will absolutely be the first place.
