Ha! I started with CHV, then moved to Bloglines, then to Google Reader, then to NewsBlur, then to TT-RSS, then to Feedly, then to Inoreader, where I've stayed since 2016. I get an itch every time one of these RSS discussions happens, but it passes.

Techdirt's Mike Masnick vibe-coded himself a task management tool. This is part two of two.

Thanks for posting this.

I wonder if you know that there's a long-time player in the RSS world called FeedMe? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.seazon.fee...

I had no idea, I'll change the name. Thank you for letting me know.

Particularly relevant with Pocket having just discontinued access to libraries via RSS feed.

I'm seeing a jaw specialist right now to see if we can reduce the overbite I've developed from sleeping with a mandibular advancement device nightly for six years.

I'm a longtime, dedicated Inoreader user. I occasionally try all the Android RSS readers that support it, but none lure me away from the official Inoreader client [1]. Does it not meet your requirements?

Thanks for the reply. I've tested it but I've been unable to make it to show notifications. I want the app to sync automatically each hour, and if there are unread articles show a notification, so I can simply click it and start reading (news+ does this)

Quick Access Popup is a full-blown, highly configurable launcher for Windows. I just started using it last week, fell in love with it, and was shocked to discover it's written in AHK.

WSCC (Windows System Control Center) is a launcher/updater/manager for both NirSoft and Sysinternals. http://www.kls-soft.com/wscc/

Audacious (https://audacious-media-player.org) and Qmmp (http://qmmp.ylsoftware.com) apparently support Winamp Classic skins.

Do you know about Web ScrapBook, a WebExtensions successor to ScrapBook X?

Thank you. I will look at this.

I looked for alternatives, around the time Firefox stable transitioned. I recall that ScrapbookX was going to try to transition. There was language about writing to browser local storage, but that appeared to me to be too constrained for my use, as well as not yet being in place.

Since then, I've taken more cursory looks but not found a suitable extension. I recently learned about Wallabag, but it did not appear to have the same amount of facility; nonetheless, I want to set it up and give it a go.

I've been a little distracted, this winter. So, I've not problem solved like I should.
