I haven't visited gizmodo in a while, but it looks like they're no longer about tech.

This whole piece is about the impact technology (internet and specifically social media) had.

Might need to read up on modern ciphers. They are protected against this kind of attack.

At my company, we used to use IPv6 internally and IPv4 publicly for future proofing and easier migration to a all IPv6 environment. Instead of changing the entire infrastructure we just had to change the gateway.

The cables or ends should almost be colored blue. It might help if there was a color code to all the cables and ports

Kinda like how Apple's USB3 ports are not colored blue, for aesthetics... ?

Anyone notice they are using their new TLD?

Yeah, I thought they were only using that internally. Well, there used to be an April Fool's page at elgoog.google which was just a mirror-image of the homepage, but that's gone now.

I think you mean http://com.google, which is indeed now just a redirect. I think someone discovered a vulnerability in it.

Sounds like people that buy these shoes are the people who want to be different and really stand out.

I always search on Google "days til {event or date}" and the first link is always this site. This site is a big time saver

I have a couple of 4k LEDs in my kitchen, but also have much warmer LEDs in other places around my house. The reason the kitchen is different is so it feels sterile and clean. The cooler light gives this appearance more than warmer light. I guess the same reason many places have white counter tops.

Not sure if you're interested, but I've got a couple of my lights hooked up with Google Now so I can say "Ok Google, turn the living room lamp on" and also when I connect to my wifi network and the sun has set it'll turn my living room lamp on.

Can you give me a general direction how to do this project?

I just did a quick Google search and found this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jz9nxzgtBaU

It's wound up like any other old pendulum clock.
