Last time I ran a linux distro from a floppy disk (mid 2000s, novelty reasons), it was xfce.

Ah. Yeah, no gui on that device, but I was running XFree86 on another tiny device. Maybe 8Mb though

What do you mean "think in words"? Is it like a narrator, or a discussion like Herman's Head? Are you hearing these words all the time or only when making decisions?

If your editor is full screen, and you have a terminal emulator to build, test, and run, does an OS actually matter these days?

VS Code is good enough for 90% of grunt work, and Emacs will give you 110% more, but at the end of the day, you live in your editor not your OS (or maybe it’s just me).
