I was such an adventure game fan as a kid. 2025 was a great year for point & click adventures and 2026 could be even better!

Not as clever as it may sound. It is perfectly possible that someone has nothing to hide in a good way, whereas someone without anything to say for himself cannot be easily imagined as a good faith social individual. So in a way this is comparing apples to bad apples and claiming they are perfectly equal.

Huh? You can’t imagine boring people as a “good faith social individual”?

If you have nothing so say for yourself that is more than beeing boring, it is beeing indifferent which is just one step away from amoral.

Or acutely stressed. Some people clam up as a stress response.

This is a strage phenomenon where people get excited by the mere fact that someone else is excited by something which is not directly visible to the spectator. It works well in horror movies and as it seems with AI hype.

Yes. People are so much more enjoyable and interesting when they have a life, go out, have hobbies, do things a little different to everyone else.

what drugs are you using?

I guess many use twatter to stay up to date or promote but a GN would be so much better.

I curious how you paste diffs into the Ai. And wouldnt a coding assistant in the IDE be a much more convenient solution?

If you have the changes as a GitHub PR you can add .diff to the end of the URL to get a single page of all the changes

Not convenient for me. I just do git diff | mate and copypaste.

Another reason cash is important. Don‘t give up on it!

I feel HN has become a lot less philosophical, more techy over the last couple of years. The political devide can also be felt. Does it make happy? Probably not. it‘s like the news. And for tech news it’s actually quite good.
